This is the best book on preaching I have read or seen. That’s a big statement. This is not an easy or light read, and perhaps is enjoyed best over a period of time.
If you take the time however, you will be treated to a history of preaching and doctrine even (and in some regard style too). You will also go in depth as to the reasons for preaching, and if you are anything like me, you’ll be invited to find your “preaching soul”. This book changed me, and allowed me to grow up in one of my chosen professions, and important aspects of my life.
